New Student Testing

WHAT IS NEW STUDENT TESTING?

We test all of our incoming students to properly place them in the correct grade and identify their academic progress in the following subject areas.

Plan for your child to be in testing for 45-60 minutes. Please remain in the reception area for the duration.

How long will it take?

Make sure your child is well-rested, relaxed, and eats a good breakfast! Please don't stress about the new student tests!

New Family Interview

All new families meet with our Principal or Vice Principal to complete the enrollment process. Students in grades TK-5 are not required to attend the interview, but students in grades 6-12 must be present. Preschool students and families will meet with our Preschool Director, Melissa Gross. You will discuss your responsibilities as a TFCA parent, ways you can contribute to the TFCA family, and discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

New Family Orientation

The final stage of enrollment is to attend a New Family Orientation session for parents only, to take place before the start of the school year. Carrie Beth Tigges, TFCA's Principal, will discuss the importance of Christian education and familiarize you with our policies.

When are we officially enrolled?

When the above steps are complete and your Statement of Financial Commitment is signed, you're official! Welcome to the TFCA family!
