GAPS INTRO STAGES

Start Every Day:

1c still water (not cold)
may add a bit of freshly squeezed lemon after diarrhea has cleared
probiotic (not until Stage 3)

Every Day:

Detox bath w/ (choose 1 or more)
1c ACV
1c baking soda
1c epsom salt
1c sea salt

STAGE 1

Continue Stage 1 foods
Add raw organic, pastured egg yolk
sensitivity test
include in every bowl of soup
Add stews & casseroles - fresh herbs ok
lots of animal fat
add probiotic food to every serving
Increase probiotic foods
Add fermented fish
Add homemade ghee

STAGE 2

STAGE 3

Homemade meat and/or fish stock
(only seasoning: salt & peppercorns)
Homemade soup
veggies cooked 25-35 min
no fibrous veggies / parts
add 1-2T chopped garlic @ end
boil then done - add probiotic food
Probiotic foods
(kraut juice, fermented veggie juice
whey, SCD yogurt, milk kefir)
1-2t/daily 5 days, x2 days 6-10, etc.
Ginger, mint or chamomile tea w/honey



Carry on with previous foods
Add ripe avocado (1-3t daily)
Nut butter/egg/squash pancakes
Scrambled eggs in ghee
w/avocado, cooked veggies & onion
Add sauerkraut & fermented veggies
slowly build to 1-4t/meal
Introduce probiotic & FCLO

Note: Coconut oil may be added at any stage if tolerated

Carry on with previous foods
Add peeled raw apple
Gradually introduce other raw fruit
& more honey
Introduce GAPS legal sweets

Carry on with previous foods
Add cooked cooking apple w/ghee
Add raw veggies
start w/soft lettuce & peeled cucumber
then add others - chew well
Start adding fruit to morning juicing
no citrus

Carry on with previous foods
Add roasted & grilled meats
remove burnt/browned bits
add EVOO to meals
building to 1-2T/meal
Introduce fresh pressed juices in am
start w/few spoonfuls carrot juice
consume slowly, increase to 1c daily
then add celery, cabbage, mint juice
Bake bread with nut/seed flour
start w/small piece daily
Introduce seed/nut oil blend

Use Microwave
Eat fruit/sweets at meals
Eat any starches or sugar
Swim in chlorine

Eat plenty of meat fat
Eat fermented foods @ every meal
85% of diet should be savory
Physical activity in fresh air

after 2yrs GAPS

Dairy Intro is for:
- those who have shown an allergy to dairy on the Sensitivity Test
- those that start with Full GAPS instead of Intro
