2014 WBWF Goals and Results Summarized

Third grade reading proficiency scores remained relatively flat from 51.4% in 2013 to 51.3% in 2014

Results not yet obtained

Kindergarten readiness scores decreased from 66.2% in 2013 to 62.3% in 2014

Graduation rates increased from 83.6% in 2013 to 86% in 2014

Seniors taking advanced courses increased from 30.5% to 31.1%

Students entering college in Fall after graduation  remained the same at 76%

Average  composite ACT scores remained flat at 22.3 in 2013 and 2014

Goal is to increase letter naming fluency by 4.2% annually

Goal by 2017:  Increase third grade reading proficiency to 75.7%

Goal by 2017:  Increase graduation rates to 90%

Goal by 2017:  50% of seniors taking advanced courses

Goal by 2017:  84% of students entering college in Fall after graduation

Goal by 2017: N/A In 2015, the ACT will be required for all students, so a new baseline will set.
