Materials: paper, pencils, crayons, rings or strings to bind books
Students are each assigned one sentence from the book. Each student writes down his or her sentence and illustrates it. The class then works together to sequence the events and puts the pages together to make a class book. These books can be shared with other classes, displayed during parent night, photocopied for every student, or kept in the classroom.
Instructions: Each classroom teacher chooses a book for the class.
