Respondents were asked if they have ever been cheated on. The majority has. We then asked respondents how many times they've been cheated on.
Respondents were asked if they have ever cheated. The majority hasn't. Respondents were then asked how many times they have cheated.
71.3% of respondents believe cheating is completely unacceptable
2.5% of respondents believe cheating is completely fine
72.8% of respondents would not stay with their significant other if they were cheated on.
51.9% of respondents would tell their significant other if they cheated.
7.4% of respondents would stay with their significant other if they were cheated on.
34.5% of respondents would not tell their significant other if they cheated.
Respondents were polled to see if they would feel bad about cheating. The majority said yes.
Respondents were polled to see if they think others feel bad about cheating. The majority said sometimes.
We asked respondents about the ethics of cheating- why people cheat, who they do do it with. These are their answers.
Many people believe the reason for cheating is highly varied. The most popular response was that those that cheat simply wanted attention.
Responses were divided when it came to who the respondents believe people are more likely to cheat with.
Respondents were asked to respond to the quote 'once a cheater, always a cheater.' Many people were neutral on the statement, however it was noted that various people strongly agreed and strongly disagreed with the statement.
Respondents primarily believe that the initial reaction to being cheated on is betrayal. To avoid this betrayal, here are some things to look for if you believe your partner is cheating:

Altogether, everyone has had different experiences with cheating and being cheated on. However, if you suspect you are being cheated on, seek out emotional support and talk to people you trust.
