HOW TECHNOLOGY CHANGED THE WORKFORCE FOR EMERGING NURSES
In 1860 Florence Nightingale opened up her very little nursing school in London
I attribute my success to this - I never give or took any excuse
•Access information from anywhere and anytime •Changed the way we store a patients health record •Improved Care Coordination
ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS
Bio-metrics have increased security on a patients information. It scans the eyes and ears of a patient to ensure that it is the right patient. Not only that fingerprints is also used as a uptight security system. This is very useful tool because it limit the access of others when it comes to your health
Work alongside nurses, doctors and physicians.
They can converse with patients and adapt to the environment
Are much more precise when giving medicine and making and insertion for surgeries.
Genetics is the study of what is inherited from your parents also called DNA. Every child inherits genes from both biological parents and which is expressed by traits. Traits could either be eye color, skin, even your hair
Genomics goes hand in hand with Genetics which studies the structure of that organism. Genomics is used to understand which parent passed on that disease to the offspring. Genomics is great because it gives the patient a lot knowledge which could lead to better care. It can reduce the amount of transplants since scientifically tendons and cartilages can grow back
Genetics and Genomics
Years ago we would not even imagine how much technology has impacted us socially, economically and financially in a great way. It has helped the world moved forward in every single aspect you could think of. It has helped us in areas we thought that never needed help, from reaching out to our families far and staying our beds even a little longer. Emerging Technologies on Nurses have changed drastically for the better and it does not stop here.
How it Helped Us Drastically
