A Ministry of First Assembly of God Established 1979

Definition: A core value is a central belief deeply understood and shared by every member of an organization. Core values guide the actions of everyone in the organization; they focus its energy and are the anchor point for all its plane (a)

We believe and teach our students that our foundation is built on Jesus and on God’s spoken word, the bible. John 14:6 states, “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” 1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

One of the main reasons why parents chose FMCS is because they know the teachers and staff love their children. In turn, our desire is to teach students to love others. John 13:34, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another"

God is truth and from his Word come absolute truths for us to live and model. It is a blessing to work with young people of great character. 3 John 1:14, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”

Excellence – a daily goal for each staff, faculty and student is not to settle for the norm, or the average, but to reach for higher standards and give our best. Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men”

Students of FMCS from PK to eighth grade are actively involved with serving others locally and around the world through our Mission 24:40 program. Matthew 23:11, “The greatest among you will be your servant

Fifty-one of our K-8 students scored in the top 90th percentile or above on standardized tests compared to the peers nationally.

During the 2015-16 school year, our middle school was the home of a State Champion Science Fair student, Lee County Spelling Bee Champion, and the junior high winner in the Governor's Black History Essay Contest!

The 2016-17 marks the first year for the middle school's 1:1 iPad program. During the same school year, FMCS received a $25,000 from Views On Learning to expand our technology program in grades PK-5th grade.
